Prvé štyri roky svojho života prežila v rodnom Uruguayi, odkiaľ sa na ďalšie štyri roky preťahovala do Španielska. Keď mala 8 rokov vrátila sa s rodinou do Uruguaya. Tu žila do svojích sedemnáctich rokov. Potom sa rozhodla ísť tvoriť svoju karieru do Argentíny. Už od malička Natalia túžila stať sa herečkou a za svojím snom šla veľmi tvrdo. Keď mala 12 rokov, skúsila šťastie v konkurze na reklamu. Medzi veľa deťmi bola vybratá a tu sa začala jej kariéra. Od 12-tich do 16-tich rokov účinkovala vo viac ako 30 reklamách na Coca - Colu, Pepsi, Johanson & Johanson a ďaľších. Prvá telenovela kde učinkovala mala názov Inconquible Corazón. Po mnohých menších seriálových úlohách obsadila hlavnú postavu Valérie v telenovele Ricos y Famosos. Po dobití televíznej obrazovky sa vrhla na dobíjanie strieborného plátna a to filmom Un Argentino en New York(Argentínčan v New Yorku). V roku 1998 vydala svoj prvý album ,,Natalia Oreiro", ktorý obsahoval titulnú pieseň k telenovele Muneca Brava (Divoký anjel). Táto telenovela bola najsledovanejšou v celej histórii argentínskej televízie. Potom, ako sa rozhodla, že rok 2000 zasvetí hudbe, nahrala druhý album ,,Tu Veneno" (Tvoj jed). Momentálne vychádza jej nová telenovela Sos mi vida(Si môj život) a koncom roka by mal výjsť jej ďaľší album. Držte palce:))
A ešte zopár informácii o NO: -finančná tieseň ju prinútila prijať ponuku fotografa, ktorý s ňou nafotil niekoľko aktov -k telenovele Divoký anjel naspievala titulnú pieseň Cambio dolor(Vymením bolesť) -zahrala si v telenovelách: Sladká Anna, Modelos 90-60-90, Bohatí a slávni.
-väčšinu peňazí, ktoré zarobila fimovaním, minula na cestovanie z Uruguaja do Buenos Aires.
